Meet Me Halfway Counseling is committed to providing ethical, professional, and client-centered mental health services. The information below is provided in accordance with Texas law and the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) requirements.
Access to Records
Clients have the right to access their mental health records in accordance with Texas law. To request a copy of your records, please submit a written request by email to [meetmehalfwaycounseling@gmail.com]. Requests will be processed within the time frames permitted by law. Identification may be required prior to the release of records. Fees, if applicable, will be consistent with Texas regulations.

Filing a Complaint
If you have a concern or complaint regarding services provided by this practice, you may file a consumer complaint with the Texas Office of the Attorney General – Consumer Protection Division.

Subpoenas, Legal Involvement, and Court Appearance Fees
Meet Me Halfway Counseling does not voluntarily participate in legal proceedings, custody disputes, or court matters.
If records are requested through a subpoena, court order, attorney request, or other legal process, additional time and administrative involvement may be required. Fees will apply for activities including, but not limited to:
Review and preparation of records
Written summaries, letters, or reports
Consultation with attorneys
Depositions
Court appearances or testimony
All legal-related services are billed separately from therapy sessions and are not covered by insurance. Fees will be communicated in advance when possible and must be paid prior to the release of records or participation in legal proceedings, unless otherwise required by law.
Emergency & Crisis Services
Meet Me Halfway Counseling does not provide emergency or crisis services.
